The FLEX-42 Series of multi-role executive crewboats has been setting industry standards in speed and comfort for offshore personnel transfers since its official launch in 2018.
Based on a proven proprietary design jointly developed by Penguin and BMT, the FLEX-42 Series consistently outperforms other crewboats, from Asia to Africa.
Penguin offers two model types in its FLEX-42 Series – the CAT C32-powered FLEX-42X and the MAN D2862 LE483-powered FLEX-42MX.
Standard features for both model types:
- 72 business class reclining seats in friendly 2-by-2 arrangement
- Individual USB-C charging ports
- Passenger lounge with amenities
- 3 pax toilets and 1 pax shower
- Toilet light availability indicators
- Space-optimising pillar-less saloon
Additionally, the FLEX-42X and FLEX-42MX is each equipped with:
- One remotely operated external FiFi monitor (@ 1200 cbm per hour each or FiFi-½)
- Aerosol fire extinguishing system
- SOLAS rescue boat with davit
- Strategically located CCTV cameras with recording capability
Plus generous cargo capacities:
- 110 sqm clear cargo deck
- 60 MT deck cargo capacity
- 75,600 L MGO
- 20,000 L fresh water
Crew accommodation features in-cabin windows with natural lighting, a cosy mess and galley, and ample personal spaces.
